As a nurse, I had limited exposure to medical aesthetics, working solely in a support role from 2018 to 2020. However, in 2021, after being hired and extensively trained under the Princeton Aesthetics Academy curriculum at Eminence, I finally had the opportunity to dive into comprehensive hands-on training and practice, covering the most advanced techniques in injectables, lasers, body treatments, and medical facials. Transitioning from a medical assistant in Dermatology to an aesthetic nurse provider was my long-held dream, especially as a single mom seeking more. My entire career, I’ve known only the stress and difficulty of the ICU. There just wasn't enough opportunity to practice on real patients as most of the classes were lecture-based. Thankfully, the team at Eminence saw potential in me as an aesthetic nurse.
